Why We Run

In recognition of National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week, every registration and every step helps Hope Restored Missions expand capital resources and transitional housing for individuals and families in crisis.

Right here in our community, neighbors are one setback away from losing everything. Hope Restored Missions walks with them from crisis to stability — and on November 21, we run so they don't have to walk alone.

Meet Our CEO

The Heart Behind
the Mission.

Every person who laces up for 2Run4Hope becomes part of someone's comeback story. We don't just run for finish lines — we run so families in crisis can find their way home. I can't wait to see you at the start line.

Dr. Tamara Monroe

CEO, Hope Restored Missions — founder, race-day pacer, and first to high-five you at the finish

Under her leadership, Hope Restored Missions has grown from a neighborhood meal program into a lifeline of transitional housing and crisis resources for families across our community — and yes, she'll be running the 5K right alongside you on November 21.

The Impact

Every Mile
Means Something.

Whether you race the clock in the timed 5K or stroll the fun walk with family, every mile you cover carries real weight for the people we serve.

01

A Mile of Shelter

Each mile funds transitional housing — a safe door to close, a warm bed, a real address for families rebuilding their lives.

02

A Mile of Nourishment

Your miles become meals and groceries for neighbors facing hunger during National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week.

03

A Mile of Stability

Registrations grow the capital resources that keep the lights on, cover a deposit, and turn a crisis into a comeback.

04

A Mile of Belonging

When a community shows up at the start line, no one walks through hardship alone. Your presence is the message: you matter.

Volunteers serving the community

"Hope is restored one meal, one key, one mile at a time."
